Caroline Bower Lawrence
is a Houston-based interior designer. She splits her time between Houston and Dallas, two cities that share a mix of southern charm and modern design. Caroline grew up in the Midwest and found her love of art, history, architecture, and design in Chicago, where she lived after earning her degree in communications from the University of Illinois.
Caroline’s career began in Chicago, working as a buyer and merchandiser for large Fortune 500 companies. With a keen understanding of design, textiles, and commerce, Caroline’s career as a merchant took her all over the world. With international travel came a new love and appreciation for other cultures and their influences in style and design.
After a successful career in commercial retail, Caroline decided to expand her education and pursue her passion for interior design. She went back to school after moving to Houston, which is where she now lives with her family.
Caroline doesn't define her style as singular. She likes a balance of mixing the high with the low, traditional with modern and old with new. She likes the juxtaposition of mixing vintage or flea market finds with modern pieces. Caroline strives to seamlessly blend functionality and creativity to complement each client's distinctive lifestyle. She prides herself on being able to work within all budgets as well.
